Default Wrapping hot parts with header wrap *pics*

It was hell dropping this kit in the heat and humidity we've been having here...
so we took it inside for the work!!!
Oh, and the v-band clamps are a bitch to get off after a few thousand miles

Wrapped the crossover and downpipe, ran out of wrap, will finish the headers this weekend (if summit ships quick )

I know this is boring to most of you big power boys, but I don't have a lot to post about since this setup has crippled me financially Oh well, let me know what you think...

Looks great, are you going to throw a blankie on there too?
I did on mine, IDK if it helped perf but it stays a lot cooler in the engine bay.

Yep, I will when I can afford one
I too am trying to get all of the heat possible out from under the hood.

Yep, Shiner and Ziegenbock helped us pull the setup...wouldn't have it any other way

Smokinhawk has a forward facing truck manifold setup... I'm running one of the few (now old) phamspeed tubular header setup. The passenger side crossover pipe crosses under the kmember, and the downpipe crosses under the k as well, but on the drivers side.

I'll get up the courage to drop A/C soon enough, I already have truck manifolds ready to go on, just need that extra push so I can at least lower my car and have good plug access

I should have went that route in the first place. You can see my downpipe in my av on the driver's side, the little dark bump. I don't even get to drive the car enough to enjoy a/c now
