so i re-use my factory alternator then?? ive noticed some kits require a new one

what about one for a ls1 vette??

should i ditch my 3.73's and go back to my 2.73's.. i have a 3600vig stall, so traction is a major issue right now, i can just imagine under boost how nonexistent it will be.. plus i miss cruisin around at decent rpm's...

im also looking at a turbonetics raptor BOV ($199), and a turbonetics evolution wastegate($219) is this fair pricing?? this stuff ads up fast lol

LOL it sure does. Nothing about FI is cheap...you'll see.

Go to a 3.42, but a 3.73 will work.

Start looking for a new converter or send that one back to PI and tell em what you are doing and they'll set you up.

well my kit just arrived my biggest isssue was going to be the oil system for the turbo. i wanna keep this build fairly simple, so i ordered a sandwitch for the oil cooler to feed the turbo. now is the return....ugh. well i didnt wanna drop the pan and the k member and weld in the bung and fitting and im nut gonna do it in the car. so i figured one better im gonna install the return to the back of the valve cover and weld it in. worst case i figure ill have to install a pump to flow the oil higher then the turbo. i dont wanna have to much pressure on the turbos oil seals. also im lookin into the v-bands im gonna find the best deal on these. -N2OJOE

Take the time and drop the pan and have it gravity drain. Pumps are a PITA and make it much more complicated...

well if oil flows uphill in your part of the country, let me know and i'll come there so i can ditch my pump. No way you can return it to the cap without a pump, oil will only flow downhill. Yes, same as STS... a lot of people are fine with the STS oil, some have issues, mainly its the custom kits with pumps that have issues, like i did. You will need a pump to return to oil cap, and make sure you MUST run a check valve in the feed line, otherwise you will have issues. Hope this helps...
