Procharger/Turbo?
A Procharged D1-sc kit- you get everything you need to put it on, and is reliable with a 8 rib set up untill you get in higher boost.

Any 32-3400lb low 9 second car is going to be stressful on parts, head gaskets will be an issue if you start pushing it hard. But honestly this car gets a little boring since I dont really do anything to it, just change the oil once in a while, check the air in the tires and run it.
If you are using an iron truck block you will lose one of the three holes that the procharger bracket bolts to. Nothing wrong with a turbo either, probably both will end up costing the same when its all over. I keep the procharger on the car because its been a no hassle setup, no extra underhood heat, easy to swap cams, no alternator relocation, didnt have to cut the core support to relocate the radiator plus no oiling/drainback issues.
But OTOH I dont think I can get a whole lot more out of this so if you are happy with bottom 9s/possible high 8s in a lighter car then its a great setup. If I wanted a solid 8.80 car or faster I would have to go to the turbo unless you build your own bracket setup with a cog or 10/12 rib.
