Default Who has 4" TB cast elbows? And some meth questions...

I've looked everywhere and nobody seems to carry anything larger than a 3" cast elbow. I need something with a tight radius that connect up to stock TB. Not the victor Jr. types that bolt on, just a simple 90* pipe. Preferably polished.
I bought a screw in type IAT and I think the thicker cast elbow would work good with the IAT and my meth nozzle without having to weld in a bung.

Now, how close can I place the IAT sensor and my meth nozzle. The elbow isn't very big so there isn't much room considering part of the elbow is covered with silicone couplers on either end. Should I just space them as far apart on the elbow as I can or do I have to move my meth nozzle farther away? My MAF is basically right next to the elbow so I don't have much room because I don't want to run meth through the MAF and I want my IAT in front of the nozzle to give better reading when meth sprays

Also, is fuel line hose heavy duty enough for meth? What kind of hose should I get? I have stainless steel sleeve to place slip over it but I need to know what kind of inner material the hose should be made of.
And, where should I place my check valve? I currently have it installed directly behind my nozzle. Should it be installed right off the pump?

Heres a 2.5" turbonetics version of that elbow I'm looking for:

I checked home depot and lowes. The largest they carry is 2.5". Is there a hardware place that carries typical cast iron parts or one that I can order from? I'm going to check northern tool and ace hardware tomorrow during lunch. I don't have much confidence in either one having it though.

I know its not cast, but intakehoses.com has a 45* and 90* 4'' aluminized steel intake pipes, dont know if that would work for you.

too thin. I need the thick cast pieces. I already have plenty of 90* aluminum mandrel bends.

I thought I remember a cobra version that fit good? I need this ordered by tuesday, so any input is appreciated

i looked high and low for a 4" aluminum cast 90° bend, and couldn't find one.
i had to use a .065" thick aluminum tubing (welded it to my intercooler.)

I found some thick aluminum/steel pipes but they arent a tight enough bend. This is going to the throttle body too so I need some space for couplers and its snug up against the radiator support.

Still wondering about the sensors though. How close can the IAT and Meth be?

Why not weld a bung/nut onto 4" steel tube? That should be fine for a threaded IAT sensor. I do not see the need to have a think cast piece.

You also want to put the IAT sensor at least 3" downstream so that the methanol can atomize throughout the intake charge.

3" downstream from the TB? So then how far apart does it need to be from the meth nozzle? Or do I need to reverse the IAT and meth nozzle so that the nozzle comes first?

Also, regular steel elbows dont have a tight enough bend. Its too gradual of a turn to fit between the TB and radiator unless you get something like a cast elbow which has a sharp 90*

i know what you're looking for.... and you're not the first person to be looking for it..

everyone i know eventually gave in and just welded bungs to regualr mandrel bends.... not to discourage you or anything, and PLEASE post if you find one.... but i think you're looking for a part no one makes

Found it.

I'm heading over to the plumbing distributor that we order through about 30 min. Ill post some pics of what they have and share the contact info.

I'll see if I can fit the IAT right after the TB and then drill the meth nozzle in another 3" upstream from that. They might be on opposite ends of the elbow due to the next closest pipe being my maf.

Your local Ferguson's plumbing carries those 4" cast elbows. I checked and they usually have them in stock.

However,
Ive decided to just go with a long 90* steel elbow instead. I relocated my MAF upstream to the spot between the fans and pulleys (rather than up near the TB).

I want to place my nozzle about 8" away from the IAT, and put the IAT a few inches away from the TB to get a good reading. So, who has tight 90* steel elbows, preferably in 4" size but any will do at this point. Im thinking I could also run 3" and then weld up a 4" adapter on a tight 3" 90* turn...but where can I find those pieces?

thanks. Ill keep that in mind.

I think my only option now though is to get a reducer piece that has a steep slope from 3 to 4" heres a pic illustrating what I need to make:

I basically just need to find this piece:
