Help needed... cam and injectors for Turbo Project
Well i am starting a turbo build on my stock ls1. I am just looking to get the kit and everything fabbed up before i look into building my motor. I am looking for a cam that would work well with 347ci ls1 with a turbonetics gtk1000 turbo. Its a 76mm t4 turbo with .96ar. I am using custom turbo headers, not manifolds with a crossover. It will have a front mount intercooler and run on e85. I will be running the turbonetics 46mm racegate and tial 50mm bov with a eboost 2 controller. For fuel i will be using 2 bosch 004 pumps, 1 hobbs activated and boost referenced regulator. I most likely will be running a ls6 intake and ported tb. Although possibilities of a carb style intake have been thought about. I want to run about 12 to 15psi for now but in the future 20psi might be in the plans.
I am looking at a turbo cam that specs are 220/216 .564/.561 116+4 LSA
I am also thinking about the speed inc TU1 225/225 .581/.581 113LSA
As far as injectors goes i was thinking about 60lbs motrons but i think with running e85 i am going to need some probably in the 96lb range which is about 72's on gas. I am also new to low impedence injectors and not sure how a converter box works and if it will work with my hp tuners and my stock computer.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions. Thanks, Tim

I'd seriously consider that 225/113 Speed Inc. cam, not too big, not too small.

Also whats the difference in Speed Inc Tu1 cam that 225/225 .581/.581 113 than say any other regular 224/224 .581/.581 113 cam>? Besides the obvious slightly higher duration.

Are you on a budget for the cam, or are planning to buy new?
I still have my old ported 317's, if you are really interested I can take them to Opel in Streamwood and have him check them. They had a little epoxy work in 1-2 spots where they broke through on the parting, but I had it epoxied by Opel. I'd go pretty cheap on the heads, and the springs are near new.
