Just wanted to post that I received great service and great products from Jose and Forced Inductions. No issues at all.

I too have to say in Forced Inductions defense, my T76 was delivered in great packaging (Dual Box)

Jose was very helpful and stayed in contact with me before, during and after the sale. The Turbo was delivered in a timely fashion after I paid for it as well. I'm sorry you had this disaster occur. I know it's really frustrating.

That turbo looks to be drop shipped directly from T-netics. I bought my cool lil TC76MPS from Jose and Crew but it dropped directly from T-netics and was packaged like yours.

I never use Fedex or DHL I have had them both lose my items and claim nothing. I only got with UPS.

The GTK 550's I ordered from elsewhere, came packaged quite similar to that. Still not great IMO, although they did get here undamaged.
It is just how T'netics package them.

Must admit, for international parcels, I always prefer FedEx. Most other couriers sellers have used, have been useless. USPS even managed to lose a diff !!!
UPS are totally incompetent, and rob me with customs charges always calculated wrong, and take twice as long as you pay for.
DHL havent been bad either. Havent used them much, but dont recall any problems whan I have.

Well, still no update from T-netics. Last time I talked to TJ he said they haven't called. I just want to know they got my turbo and are going to fix the problem under warranty.

What happened to yours? In this thread I've seen a few references to the issue of blades contacting the housing. Not to be dense here but when they were spun by hand before installation, was this not noted? Is there a feeler gauge 'standard' of clearance that should be checked prior to installation? And if there is, what is it? I want to make sure I measure mine before installation. Thanks!

just looking at the package, the shipping people (fedex, UPS) or whomever was clearly not responsible. It was whoever packaged it. Just the box riding in a truck and maybe tipping over with heavy loose contents will tare up a light duty box like nothing.
A package should be made to withstand a 3ft drop. Wrong box (too thin) wrong packaging material... I worked in this field once. Packing peanuts are the WRONG thing to use. Good thing these people dont sell light bulbs.

The main bearing went causing an oil feed back up and a ton of shaft play, hence grinding the housing. This turbo had less than 200 miles on it, easy.

Lets keep this thread on track and updated. My focus right now is the unusable S88 turbo. It was received back at Forced Inductions Last Friday.

We made it to Memphis last weekend on the borrowed little turbo. While the car show was awesome to be apart of, racing it is what we worked so hard for. Still planning on running at the local track before the end of the season.

Your C5 looked great, I was there. Hope you get the turbo back asap, it was poorly packaged and you should not get faulted for that, that would be quite ridiculous. Like we were all talking about at the show, customer service is key here.

Glad they got your turbo apart so quickly. I'm not trying to steal your thread, just curious why T-netics hasn't called my guy to give them an RA#. Apparently you can't ship it back for warranty work without this # so my turbo is just sitting collecting dust.

Still no update for me. I know Jose, Dr Turbo, and TJ have been calling the hell out of them to get the RA# so we can ship it back.

PM sent to Dr. Turbo, and I just left a message in their general mailbox.

Like I said at the Memphis race to 417 and the owner of the car, I will follow up.

I am looking for major progress ASAP.

I'm not in a good mood right now so hurry up.

Man that sucks, never made it to memphis with the build you worked so hard for. Alsmost isn't even worth putting on the smaller turbo and going. By the way sweet looking car
