Default Car went in for surgery today.......

I dropped my car off at Speed Inc. for a list of things that are going to take place this week...

6.0L Iron Block .40" 372c.i.
Stock Crank
Eagle Rods w/bolts
Diamond Boost Pistons w/pins
ARP goodies
Cometic Gaskets
Double Roller Timing chain
SLP oil ported oil pump
Ported TB
TEA S2 heads w/73cc chambers (already on my current setup)
214/218 .540/.550 114lsa cam (already on my current setup)
ASP 7.85" 8 rib crank pulley and Reichard Racing 3.60" 8 rib blower pulley

Speed Inc. Billet Fuel rails with cross over line w/my current 42.5LB injectors
CAS Polished Radiator

Not sure how long this process is going to take, but I can't wait to get it back....

Should be sweet. What were the flow numbers on your heads? That cam seems pretty tame for use with TEA heads...they usually keep flowing up to 600 lift. Might be some more power left in your setup with a new cam. Just something else to spend your money on

My thoughts too. I would go way bigger on the cam considering you are upping the cubes and also running a TH400 with brake. I would go with something in the 232/240 range on 114 and 2, 4 degrees advanced

Also are your heads chambers opened up for the larger bore already?

Cheers,
Chris

I was thinking about a bigger cam too, but from what a few people were saying I'm going to try this....

Emissions friendly, 6200(ish) shiftpoints, hella torque...

We will see how it goes...it will for sure be friendly on the street and idle like stock...

The heads are opened up to 73cc's

I'm still wondering what kind of power its going to put down at 12psi....if I hit 12psi....

Its all up in the air right now....

You have a D-1SC, so you don't have to worry about overspinning the impeller so quickly like me, because your kit has a higher CFM. With the smallest blower pulley, I can only spin the motor to about 6400RPMs before I max out the head unit. But you don't have that problem, so why not spin up to 6800, and drop in a cam that has peak power at 6800? I would think 224/227 should be the minimum duration I'd look at for that block.
You have the potential, why not use it?
And you don't live in Cali, so who gives a good dam about emissions. Thats what LS1-Edit is for.

I was thinking 224/228 .550/.560 114lsa...

Any more opinions....

I'd like to see what Brian dynos with that cam, a blower is always going to move the peak HP up about 500 rpms over NA, so it might still peak well in the 6000's...

I'm running a 230/230//115 and with the blower I might peak at 7000.

Yea, I forgot about the 500rpms over NA, I think I'm going to leave it as is...
