Default forged 347 w/ 9.5:1 & boost?

I know roughly 8 psi is about the most you want on a stock bottom end car without running meth. How much could a person run with a forged bottom end and 9.5:1? running no meth.

I'm running 14~15psi on my 9.5:1 forged 347. No problems here. I am using meth now with the F1, but before when I had the P1, I had it maxed out and it would make 14psi without the hat and filter on and no meth. Just make sure your tune is good.

You should be able to get to 15 psi with meth pretty easily. Without meth I wouldn't lean on it as hard.

Why anyone would do any sort of FI without an intercooler is beyond me. Seriously, why skimp on an intercooler. Only way I'd not run an IC is if I was only running 4~5#

Some poeple run meth as there intercooler, mostly in drag applications. Also at low boost 6-7 psi and meth without an intercooler shouldn't be a problem. Its all in the tune and whatever goals you have.

Right around 8-10 somewhat reliable- it comes to the tune. I know some people that have run 12-15 but they were/are on limited time.

+1 Only instances I've seen with big boost were alcohol cars or blow through carb setups.

i think it would be better to ask about horsepower instead of boost. I think you can do 700rwhp with a/a i/c and no meth with 93 octane

I wouldn't run less than 9.5:1 compression. I ran 9:1 and my setup felt a lot sluggish down low as compared to 10:1 compression.

centrifugals like more compression.

Truer words cannot be spoken....I'm running 10.1:1 at 9-10 psi with conservative tune & engine has been very responsive & reliable
