Default 7.95 @ 174

We took the car out friday night for the secound time. We decided to turn the boost up to 20lbs over 15lbs where we had it last weekend. We 60' the car twice and then decided to air it out to see where we were on this boost level. First 1/4mile pass on this car she went 7.95 @ 174 with a 1.29 sixty and went 5.16 through the 1/8 mile. The customer was pretty pleased to say the least. So we decided to head to a TT5 race saturday. When we got there we decided to play with the launch boost aswell as ramp it in alot quicker then the night before. The car stayed on the bars over 200ft out and drifted towards the wall so I had to pedal it to get the front end down. We never got to make a full pass because the front end would not come down. We still made it to the semi's so it wasnt a bad race in all. We will work on the suspension this week and try and take it back out this weekend for some testing. I will try and post some vids later today. Also wanted to thank Madman for his bad *** suspension components, this car wouldnt be leaving like it does without them.

damn it seem like all the big guns are right there with each other,, some with only a few passes under there belts, lots of pressure for the new guys to perform well.

Good job on the runs, you guys on slicks or radials?

Outstanding for the 2nd time out.

Are you running the BS system? How much boost are you leaving on? Figure you have what maybe another 5-10lbs of boost?

Good luck on your quest. Wormboy when are you going to work on your own car?

No we are running all the old stuff out of Stevens car (FAST) Right now we are only leaving on about 10 pounds of boost right now. Running down track on 20 psi on the 7.9 pass. When all is said and done I would like to be around 35 psi with the 106 mm on it. On another note we should have our car back from the chassis shop in december. We are still trying to decide what engine combo right now all we know for sure is that it will be Big twins on alcohol
