for those asking about the FMIC; although on an f-body, my horizontal intercooler kept my charged IATs right around 100* peak on a warm day. it was a 4" ebay style to boot

many many late nights! LOL thats all i have to say

now let me see if i can help Chris answer some of these questions,

Q. So the intercooler is laid flat?? do you have a air dam feeding the air up into the cooler??
A. Yes it is, we used the stock air dam to help with air travel through the core, from under the car all you see is the rows and no end tanks. So far we are having great results.

Q. is it still a 6 speed?
A. Yes with a trans/diff brace

Q. So let me get this correct A/C and everything is still on the car?
A. Yes the car has all acc. in stock locations, we still have to make the pressure hoses and install a condenser but the A/C WILL work

Ill keep checking up on this thread and try to be as helpful as possible.
Thanks for the compliments on the fab work, Chris has been a great sport throughout this build! Original plan was a rear mount, and i said "hey lets try this"

Thanks everyone. Blake should have said many early mornings!

The car will definitely see a lot of the track. In fact the first trip out resulted in this broken half shaft... then a cracked differential case. The 3.90 gears needed to come out anyway!

using pump gas 13psi on the street will melt my 27" ET Streets through all four gears. Takes a while to spool it up though. What do you consider low boost? (afraid of your answer)

Low boost is 10-12psi. The spool up gets better as the boost climbs. Your spinning up a pretty damn big turbo....lol. That is sick though to melt 27" ET's through 4th gear....haha

As of now this is just a custom setup. However in the future there is a possibility of a kit being for sale.

We talking 18psi or 25psi when you say it will spool much faster with more psi?

Well **** Chris thats my same setup also but with Eagle crank and lunati Promod rods. I am also going with a S91 but with a TH400.

Have you gotten any times, dyno's or vids of this setup? I am interested in seeing how the S91 is working out.

wow... has the setup ran long enough to see if there will be any issues from heat in the engine bay?

ugghhh! That's one thing I DON'T miss about my C5 vette, and I was making a measely 800rwhp in comparison to what your car is capable of! Went through 4 driveline failures in a year and decided it's time to go f-body solid axle. But all that aside, that is an absolutely sick setup! Congrats on going outside of the box and having great success at doing so!

ive got nearly the same setup with diamonds and AFRs....

im going to try an S85 i think though. i wonder what the spool difference will be. i just hope im not undercutting the size though. i just think the s88 has more than ill ever use seeing as the s85 already is making over 1000rwhp. s91 is just stupid
