Help with an F-1 hey i was just wondering what everyone thought or knew about the f-1 prochargers??? i am currently looking at one with bracket and pulley with about 2500 miles for 900$. I was wondering what all i would need to go with it and if that a good deal? ive got 00 ss a4 3.73 hooker lt's no cats y-pipe flowmaster. so if you have any input let me know thanks

$900 for an F1 with bracket is an absolute steal!!! You better jump on that now! Just make sure it is for an f-body. Even if the bracket is different, you should still jump on it. That is a nearly $3000 head unit. You need to make sure it is reverse rotation. You'd also need the intake ducting to make the kit complete. I have the complete intake ducting with intercoolers and everything I'd sell you if you need them. Shoot me a PM if you do.

Get the serial# and call procharger. I can sell you all the intake piping that goes from the outlet of the supercharger to the intercoolers, the intercoolers themselves, and the rest of the tubing from the intercoolers to the throttle body. PM me or e-mail me chadchevy@yahoo.com

thats a whole lot of blower for a stock bottom end, you would have to run like a 6 foot pully on that thing

Ya ,I would be a little Scary about buying a f1 For 900.00 ,Even if u had to have it rebuilt ,u may save a few hundred dollars,I dont have a clue What a rebuild would be ,But I would wanna see it & Hear it Before i gave him my hard earned Cash

Well im pretty pissed now cause the ad was BOGUS i askd the guy how much outright n shiped he said 1200 need payment asap and then proceeded to tell me that he was going out of town also.... so f that anyone wana sell their kit ????? need good deal still college student and workn so let me know thanks for all the info guys
As someone else sad its WAY too much blower for a stock bottom end. Not saying you couldnt use it, but your stock bottom end wouldnt last long and if you were to buy a large enough pulley to lower how much boost it would be making the blower wouldnt be efficient at all. Sucks that the ad was bogus but youd be much better off with a p1sc or d1sc for your stock engine IMO. Good luck though and hopefully you can find another good deal on an SC.
