Default does this look right (pic)

i took off my head unit tonight and took some pics, just wanted to run them by you guys and see if it looks right, this is my first time working on an LS motor, and the first time working with FI so if any thing looks out of place plaes tell me thanks

the flux capacitor in the lower pic looks like it should be replaced.

I usually leave the J bracket on the car and take the head unit off the J bracket by removing the allen head bolts. But, yeah, it looks to be mounted correctly if that was your question? You may have to reclock it a bit depending on your intercooler piping... My outlet almost faces straight down, but the piping will dictate the ultimate direction.

yes the J bracket was a bitch to get off with the head unit, but i did not have much of a choice, the allen head bolts look to be messed up? can i replace the allen head bolt with any kind that will fit??

How did get that standoff loose without taking the head unit off

You can replace the allen bolts but make sure they are the same length.

ok cool man by the way whats the standoff?? is that the long nut looking thing in the bottom pic??? if so i just unscrewed it till it came off?? i hope i did not mess anything up?

The bolt behind the blower must not have been very tight. Its a lot easier to take the blower off the bracket first as mentioned

trust me is was hard as a **** to get it off, im going to try to get the J bracket off the head unit eather tonight or in the morning ill take more pics as i go

someone sells a special tool just for the procharger guys, looks pretty cool.

ok cool i got the J bracket off and the allen bolts are good they just looked bad and i did not want to take a chance of messen them up!! but i am learning as i go
now time to clean this bad boy up!!

If you replace the socket heads, you need to make sure you get new ones that are the same strength and have the same coating. Any type of socket cap of the same size will not do. Just FYI if the issue ever comes up again.

The stock ones are stainless I believe, wouldnt be a real good idea to use anything that can rust..
