I got it from Wizard Cooling... I had it within 13 days of ordering it and it was custom made exactly to my specs!

Yeah I was tired of the Supercharger... I have always been a turbo guy, but when I wanted FI we didnt have any options I really liked, and now Im just going custom anyways... lol

Nah... I just work hard and play harder! The car better go consistant 8s when I get it dialed in! There should be room for more, but I only want a 10pt cage! no 25.5...

Looks good Mick. Awsome to see both our car next to each other comming along as nice as they are. I know you are as excited as I am.

We are going to have to do battle at the track to see who has the fastest TP built Turbo car. My car should be done around spring time so you better be ready to turn up the BOOOOOOOST.

I can't wait till we can line up! Lord knows we have both been through the same crap with our cars. Went from building a nice DD with tons of power to dedicated race cars, changing setups 3 times along the way... LOL

Thanks man... Im trying ot get it done, the flanges and pipes will be here tomorrow so we may be getting started on fabbing up the turbo kit.

And thanks about the SRA conversion comment. It was a lot of late nights laying on my garage floor with a buddy welding and fabbing it all up. Neighbors in deed restricted neighborhoods dont appreciate when your air compressor starts moving air at 1AM... Got a few notices from the committee and just trashed them... LOL

i am pretty sure its ok to tell folks in this post that the car is currently being built and tuned by Transmission Physicians in Tampa, FL. its ok to talk about a shop and your experiences there. just no public posting of contact information.

Yeah I was thinking about that the other day.

Good news is my Dad is looking to build a 69 Camaro... Been thinking about pulling my motor from the GTO when that time comes and giving i to him and building an LSX block with bigger heads and bolting all the other parts right onto that motor. The dang LSX black wasnt released when I started this project, oh well. If I want more I can always change it, but this should get me through the year... LOL

We are pretty much done with the DS manifold. Should have both sides done and in the car by Friday, then we need to plumb the IC, radiator, Fuel, brakes, and wire up BS3. We are pushing real hard to have the car running by the 10th of January or so and we still have lots left to do! Its probably gonna take ALOT of late nights, but we want it ready for the ALL GTO event on January 20th so we can get some good tuning runs in during a track rental.

Small update. Headers are built and turbo's are in place...

Don't have the downpipes built yet. That's next.

Small progress...

Downpipe is in on the Driver side. We couldn't get it down the back because there wouldn't be enough space for the 3.5" pipe. So... We had to get creative. We just put it right through the header.

Tomorrow we should be able to do the other downpipe. Moving along...

We slowed down ALOT... Misc parts and stuff didnt come in over the holidays and it doesnt get worked on every day. I'm not pushing to get it done by a deadline, I decided I want it done right so no point in rushing through the fab work and install.
