Fact of the matter is, if you are going to use NRE, I'm sure he has very clear thoughts on what combo he would suggest, he's built a lot of turbo cars.
If you plan on running a 408 - 427 - 454, you will need to run between a 98 - 101 mm turbo. You will need 160 lb injectors, or two fuel systems, a BS3, and a lot of custom fabrication. With some thinking put into it, I could have someone help me fit a 98 mm turbo with my current setup but some stuff would have to be moved around or changed.
Honestly as I'm typing this I think you should focus on a 408/427/454 and twin 72-76 mm turbos. I don't think you will ever package a big thumper with a/c in the engine compartment of a 4th gen.

.85 A/R Damn.... Talk about a quick spooling turbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone know the size of GT55.. Tall, inlet, outlet etc?
I have a friend who has a large frame 88MM turbo. Not sure if that is a GT55 frame or not....
I have a Airearch 83MM now which is a GT42 frame. I want to see if I can fit it all with the T88 Large frame if in fact it is a GT55 frame and just run the 83MM GT42 frame till we get the funds for the new one.

(installed) for the 454ci TT (2,300 hp).
I already have an LSX iron block and my builder here builds huge hp turbo engines all the time for drag cars.
He's gonna do a 408ci LSX and hopefully when I finally get an answer on the OFI questions, it'll except a 101mm turbo. Or possibly the new turbo that Dr. Turbo is talking about will fit with the OFI current kit.
I'll spend half the money for the same power and my builder will be 5 miles from my house instead ~2,300 miles away.
I wish I knew what power the S91 would make on a 408ci.

I believe the real measurement of horsepower is really CFM. It's why you see so much variation (in power)ibetween setups. It's the same N/A or FI. A blower/turbo/piston is going to be capable of pulling/pushing more air through a well flowing head and intake than it is through a restrictive head or intake.
Shouldn't we be judging the size of a power adder on the motors CFM?

Geez with that size setup....the biggest we offer for the S91. The S91 should do over 1200+rwhp.....or more then enough to get REALLY stupid on anything other then a full blown slick on a prepped track.

I would go witht he S-91 and call it a day. I have customers running low 9's with a s-88 and a 408 and 402. When the new turbo design come out then I will see if that will fit. Im pretty sure it will fit. Im getting specs on it soon. So I will know shorlty. If you go with the s-91 now..im pretty sure you wouldnt have a proplem selling it if you need to.

Yeah the S88 in a 3300-3500lbs car should get you low 8's and S91 should squeak you into the 7's. Of course you'll have to be on your game to get there....
