From a flow standpoint... we needed more then the 2 1/4" STS pipe for the volume of air we intend on flowing... we settled on this method (Josh reccomended it and I prefer its appearance) and it gives us more flow diameter then a single 3" pipe anyways... the surface area can add friction (when enough air is forced through it) but the additional surface area also aides in keeping the temps lower as well..

Jared, Josh and myself just got back from more drivability tuning. This thing is definately going to be a beast. It made 10lbs of boost at less than 50% throttle, and boy it felt good!![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

truck ran a best of 10.08@136.8. that was exactly 5000lbs with me in it. set up was a 408, afr225's, pt88 with a smallish intercooler, stock truck intake still, stock rails, stock regulator, stock fuel line, stock tb, stock rear end, stock front end, stock driveshafts.
not sure what your car will weigh but i would think well into the 8's are posiable. mid 8's if you could knock 2000lbs off of my weight.
