If you listen it sounds like it goes flat before it starts popping. I agree that the springs are probably the issue

If they are 150/160 on the seat as posted they "should" be ok at 7psi with your cam. I'd still pull a valve cover and test the spring pressure to insure it is 150....easy insurance.

I ran the BP7EFS plugs at 0.32 at 18psi at 6700rpm without any problems. Time to spin some wrenches.
yup...spinning now
spoke brian tooley today and he too agrres tht the seat is good enough for messly 7.5psi...

.28 is ok

i am surprised that it ran so good though...ive had burnt wire issues before and it starts poppin and missing at much lower rpm...thats why i didnt think of at first....i guess there is different degrees of severity....

Yeah well at least you seem to of discovered the problem without having to open engine, etc. It seems that the wires arent burnt to the core which is why it seems it didnt happen till 5500rpm. It could of been much worse and glad to see that it is something that is not major. Now replace those bad boys and hit the track and show us some I'm sure to be impressive numbers. I see 8's in your near future, or at least low 9's.

Stop dyno'ing and get that thing to the track. Looks like you are competing with Supras now..
