I'm way too drunk to read all of this right now, but 65psi should be closer to 3kHP, not 1200.

Very unefficient setup. We did the same setup with 22-24lbs of manifold boost and made 1012hp on a Cobra.Post is here somewhere.

I can understand that it would probably jsut be better to get a good twin turbo setup and turn up the boost, but could you explain why its so unefficient Not being a dick either, lol

Im hoping that the person that typed that up ment to hit the 3 but hit the 6 instead on the keypad on a keyboard. As i could see it takin 35 psi on a stock engine with all the restrictions but not 65. Thats insanity.
It does seem like a big gimmick though. But we will see.

Imagine how much power it would've made without the roots blower!

I would be interested in seeing the total air flow of the system. I can shove a potato up my exhaust pipe and get 65 psi of manifold pressure. As Slowhawk said, you should be able to make more power with less boost than that.

I'd rather be making larger HP numbers than larger boost numbers

wow, alot are missing the point....

take alook at the torque differences. shooting yourself in the foot with a heaton is quickly nulled by the fact your pushing more air in (and out)...giving you more "cubes" for larger turbos...

it is 44psi peak for 1,118hp, 65psi was tested.

Yes,but I'm sure we can agree that the graph is ugly.It just shows they spiked the turbos to get a high peak hp/tq #.

it defintely looks hit, but i'm sure with more and more testing/refinement the curve will smooth out.

4.6 mods are down on cubes comparitively to ls, but it would be interesting to compare to a similar level

opel and renault used this setup long ago, and did well with it. wouldn't expect the tnetics and hellion groups to do that bad in time, either.

I was thinking about doing a roots, centr s/c, twin turbo's and one butt mounted. What do ya think? I think that it would have done better from the twins alone.

We are seeing just over 60 PSI in our 465 CI Chevy/ AJ motor (Twin Screw). We are a little closer to the 3,000 HP range though
