I'm all for DIY projects....but cheap and turbo are like oil and water....just be prepared for your wallet to start bleeding cash sooner than later...
Turbo, WG, BOV, Oil pump for the rear mount, ability to tune the car for the turbo, colder plugs, flanges, some sort of intercooler, bigger injectors, upgraded fuel pump(s), exhaust wrap for the hotside tubing, oil feed line, oil drain line. Fuel pressure, boost pressure, and oil pressure as well as tranny temp are all great gauges to have and I feel mandatory for a boosted car. Do you have a welder? That is a basic list, you'll need more.
