Thoughts on running twin PT70-p trim turbos on a 408
I'm building my 408 and have a good line on some PT70s .81 A/R p-trim turbos and was wondering what everyones thoughts on them were. My basic setup is below:
-iron block 408
-Lunati crank
-Lunati pro-mod rods
-ETP 245 or AFR225 heads
-6-spd w/ 3.42 gears
-C6 manifolds flipped forward
-4.5" Procharger stood up vertical (until I max them out then a big single)
-either 67s or 70s
I realize that this is enough turbo to push me into the 8s but I'm not as concerned with the track as I am the street. However I will be pushing it hard for 9s with the 6-spd.

A friend made a little over 1000 to the wheels with twin 70's at 21lb on his 408. Although, his intercooler was a big restriction, just like that procharger intercooler will be.
