Yeah SSilverSSurfer is right. Just got tha call today everything is supposed to be ready either tomorrow or Friday and so I will be doing back to back testing only thing I am going to change is the intakes and adjust the AF and see what happens no timming chages etc.. I am sure that there will be difference between the two and what they like, but I want to know with no other changes as I feel it is a better comparison cause if you change cams then you have to change the manifolds again to see if it gained or lost with both to have an accurate account of what attributed to the gains or losses IMO. So I am simplely going to the dyno and going to dyno one and then the other going to try and do it the same day also. I can't wait to see your results either I am guessing no significant differences atleast till 6500 but lets see.

x2....the results should be interesting. This won't end the debate (....you could have made more with the XXX manifold if you would have increased the ____....) but there is nothing like an actual test with real data.
If I end up putting my engine on a dyno before I put it in the car, I will try to borrow my old LSX intake to do a similar test vs my ported Vic.

Well Aaron from intake elbows emailed me back and he says he has nothing that works on the C5 vettes? I seen an elbow that Slowhawk used on a C5 so I'll have to get in touch with him. The elbows that I've seen on the F-body's don't seem to keep the TB in the factory location. I need a elbow that keeps the TB in the factory location because this way I can still use all my current piping from the intercooler to the TB-this will save alot of time when swapping from the LS6 to VicJr. I don't think any elbows clear the factory hood accept the one from Nitrous Dave-changing hoods is not a problem-I will change it-I think the hood clearance is about 1.75".

It looks like i'm going to use a Nitrous Dave elbow-I really need the TB to be in the stock location.
I have one more question for you guys-should I port the VicJr or leave it stock?

The LS6 is not ported-is everyone okay on the Nitrous Dave elbow? The only other difference will be the VicJr will get a 90mm GM TB where as the LS6 has a ported stock TB.
Let's just get an consensus here?

Are you saying the LS2 intake needs to be ported or just the TB? I just assumed that you wouldn't be using a stock GM 90mm TB but rather a nice aftermarket ported one anyways.

I think with the blower the TB isn't as big of a restriction or hindrence. I asked the Renegade guys and the answer I got was they went just as fast with a 75 as they did with 90.
The LS2 manifold if you look at tests falls short of the LS6 until ported-apparantly the friction welding leaves lots to be desired as far as casting flash.
TPIS has big intake shootout on there website.
