Who wants to see a LS6 versus VicJr comparison?

Can anyone explain why anything much larger than stock would be a benefit, if using 3" OD plumbing anyway ?
Not much sense using a 90mm TB which can to a degree reduce throttle resolution, when your intake plumbing is only 76mm OD.
It certainly doesnt need to step up to 90mm to compensate for any possible restriction caused by the throttle blade itself.
I still think, that based on my own limited experience, the stock LS6 and TB will be hard to improve upon.

I agree, as long as the TB you are using is bigger than the intake piping, you are not impeding flow. My predictions are that there will be no noticeable difference IN HP since the output of the blower will be fixed between the two. Boost may change a bit, but not HP. But I guess now we will all get to see

Well Aaron from intake elbows emailed me back and he says he has nothing that works on the C5 vettes? I seen an elbow that Slowhawk used on a C5 so I'll have to get in touch with him. The elbows that I've seen on the F-body's don't seem to keep the TB in the factory location. I need a elbow that keeps the TB in the factory location because this way I can still use all my current piping from the intercooler to the TB-this will save alot of time when swapping from the LS6 to VicJr. I don't think any elbows clear the factory hood accept the one from Nitrous Dave-changing hoods is not a problem-I will change it-I think the hood clearance is about 1.75".

Hey bro-I got one of Aaron's elbow's here-it's way off where the factory TB should be. It's angled downward and it's further back. I may try it but it means I'll have to fab up a new intake pipe.

The ones I have are angled down slightly, but with in a 1/4-1/2' at most of where the factory TB is located. My couplings still worked, but I have some of the first ones with no O-rings etc... So I also had to make gaskets, but you can imagine they are not that thick LOL!

It sticks up pretty far. I had to use a magna extractor to clear. I was worried when it went on. Here is a side view without the hood on. But mainly just wanted to show you one option. I think I payed around 279 or so from Bob.
