I need advice on my next setup..
I would say get your money out of the block you have. The whole point of going boost is running plenty of it right? You can get a bigger motor when/if the current one grenades. Besides, you can give your checkbook a workout buying the framework to support even more power. Fuel system, FAST, a new rear end and probably converting over to an auto to deal with all that hawsepowah once your T56 is shrapnel. Turbo is the way to go if you can deal with the tuning as you know. Twin turbo because it sounds cooler when you tell people about your setup
Quad turbo would be the best of course. Gravity return line and pressure feed line from above the oil filter. (possibly with a restrictor)
use a single and make a crossover pipe.
I would go with a boost referenced SMC alky/water system and gut the front of the car to mount the intercooler in the front bumper support area.
Really work on airflow through the engine compartment to reduce heat.
Go with FAST engine management and 80+# injectors and custom fuel system.
You are talking BIGGG bucks to do this right.
Personally I think a blower could deliver more power than you could use on the street

Cheers,
Chris
also, if your going with a good alky kit...no need for the intercooler and all that plumbing. its cools way better by itself.
Cheers,
Chris
Vince, for 12 psi you might be able to keep the stock pcm and run the newer 55 lb Siemens high impedance injectors. The MAF will be maxed out so it's something you would need to research.
I totally call my car a project. I want to run 9.5@145mph at 3400 raceweight and that's a lot of power to move that heavy of a car.

I think you are going to get cubically expensive with the turbo setup.
I think you can hit 600RWHP with the following:
9:1 pistons or blower ported heads
Right blower cam
55# injectors
Good fuel system with regulator
good tuning
D1SC with 15#'s boost (need the right pulley setup to avoid slippage)
3 core front mount intercooler
SMC water/alky kit
headstuds/gaskets
How much do you think you really need for the street? 600RWHP will be pretty much useless hehe

Also forget your stock rear, it wont last at all...
cheers,
Chris
427TT to 427TT stage II 800RWHP
Includes:
New larger turbochargers and housings
Custom fabricated exhaust manifolds
Custom fabricated ductwork
Custom fabricated centermount single intercooler
Re-assembly of vehicle and turbo system
Re-calibration of ECM
$60,000.00
This package will also require a boost controller($1250.00) , and race gas, to achieve 800RWHP on the high boost setting. Due to the programming necessary, the calibration will be rich at low RPM’s on the high boost setting. We will offer a $1200.00 trade in allowance for the original turbo components that are not re-used in the 427TT stageII package. Due to the high horsepower nature of this package, it cannot be covered under our warranty.
Let me know what you guys think,
Ed
How was this accomplished by Lingenfelter on the stock pcm????
Easy to tune, predictable boost, pretty reliable.
(If you have a wastegate go out with a turbo kiss your motor goodbye

Also even the axles and posi in the stock rear will be suspect with 600+RWHP. If you run a DR you could break the rear even on a 3-4 shift. Ask nineball about his nitrous pass with the rear grenading at around 125mph!
SMC base kit is 399.00 and includes everything you need.
If I wasn't so happy with my current combo and after putting a bid on a house I would be running a custom ATI or Vortech setup with alky and intercooler now.
Prostock thanks for the compliment man, Im glad someone is learning from the time and money cartek and I put into my car.
