What is a Polished D1SC comp worth?

Probably 1500~1700 depending on mileage. That is about the going rate for a used D1SC. I doubt you'll get any more from it because it is polished. You may, but if anything, it wouldn't be much. Most the guys on this website are f-body guys, and a polished blower doesn't mean a lot to them because you can't see it anyways. A Vette guy may pay 50~100 more, but you may have a harder time selling if you insist a premium for the polishing is all I'm saying.

What does posts have to do with anything? The compressor has about a hour and a half of usage during a engine dyno tune. I wouldn't think that it would lose that much value from Joe Q public walking into a shop and buying from a reseller.
I just want to step up to a F-1 series without taking a bath. If I can keep the out of pocket expense under $800 bucks then the upgrade is worth it to me.

It means that you don't have any sort of an established reputation on this site thats all. I'm not saying you are a bad guy or trying to scam anyone, but without any rep or feedback, its hard to sell a big ticket item. And I seriously doubt you will get $2300 for just the head unit alone as BLNLS1/RX7 said. But hey, if you can, more power to ya. I'm just letting you know the average I've seen them sell for here on this site is 15~1700 for just the head unit. Good luck with it man.

Bob over at Epp set me up with a guy that had a used polished D1SC I paid 1500 for the unit and I sent it out and had it all inspected and they cleaned up the polish work at ATI while it was there. That was another 200. In short for 1700 I had a like new unit that was all checked out as good as new. Thanks Bob

I cant see paying more than 1750 for a used D1. I dont care how much the owner told me about it unless I knew him personally... I think if you buy a used unit you should have it inspected reguarless of what you had been told about it.

Have to keep up with the Jones's. 780 just dosen't seem to be enough anymore. I want an F series and don't want to shell out more than 5-800 bucks for the transition. The unit on there now is direct from Procharger as a Super Chevy Magazine Tech article. Check out the cardomain link in my Sig.
