I am not sure if that is how it works, but @ the same boost lvls the car seems to be down about the slip we had. @ 9 psi we went from 590 last year, to 500 this year. But @ 6700 rpms the car was doing 155 mph, and last year @ 7,000 rpms the car was doing 134.

I have calculated out the slip and it is right at 4% on the dyno. I will check it again while its on the track. We ran out of fuel around 15-16 psi. The Fuel pumps would start off base 60, rise to around 75psi and then they would fall to around 45-50psi. The only explanation i have for this is the fuel pumps. They are both wired separate. They each have there own 30amp relay, and there own 20amp fuse. Because of the fuel pressure falling off we hit 102% duty cycle on the 60# injectors on 15 psi. Once we get the fuel pressure to stay, we should be able to get close to 20psi of boost on the 60's. If need be, then i might go to 80's, but we will see how close the turbo is to getting maxed out.

Even though the numbers seem lower then last year, the car is going to be faster this year!

Please get new injectors, I tried 15 psi on the 60s and I was at 100 - 110 IDC then swapped to the 80s and I'm at 70 percent.

Would be awesome to supercharge the v, and the tuner is 4 miles away He actually just picked up a 2011 cts-v for his wifes car.

Im sure you will be one of the first to know how the car does tomorrow

On 9 psi 590whp, 9.87 @ 134 with a 1.37 60 ft on a old converter that was slipping to much.

New billet converter, new 95# injectors, 2 new gss 340 fuel pumps, new intake, ams 1000 with 2.5# c02 tank, and as much boost as we can make. I dont know if i will ever make the actual number public from this point on.

It was tuned up till about 16 psi and fuel pumps couldn't keep up.. One of them was bad we think, because they have been proven to do alot more then we have done.

Thanks, Chris

That was leaving of the tb around 5-6 psi, the converter was also slipping almost 20% on that pass

Thanks chris

Ok. The car made 761 whp @ 17 psi with the th400 and 9 inch. Fuel pumps worked perfect we ran a base pressure of 40#, and the duty cycle on the 95# injectors was right at 70%.

With a 6 speed the car should be around 900whp were guessing. Th400 and the 9 inch dont dyno very high. I am very happy with the numbers, now we need to get to the track.

Thanks, Chris

Thats the plan. I think it might be a lot of playing with the ams 1000 to get the absolute best time possible but i dont think bottom 9's will be a problem.

If the weather is nice, we will be at the track next weekend.

Thanks, Chris

Thanks! We mostly run at Byron since its close to where the car is. We actually made some shake down runs this past weekend. We ran a best of 9.868 @ 146.69 with a horrible 1.67 60' time. We have some small things to change around, and we will be back in the next couple of weeks to get the short times down! In the mean time, here are a couple pics from this past weekend.

Any plans for paint or is it staying black? How much clearance do you have now with the pro-flo intake?

Just noticed the front and the pins, you gunna paint those red for the front clip too or leave um?

Hood pins will not get painted. I might pain the hood one day. I actually would like to re spray the whole car in the next couple of years, so we will see.

Thanks, Chris
