My build - Lots of pics

My parents garage is the reason i keep the car an hour away from me to take on any big projects. It could be parked in there for a yr and never be in there way.
The drive there sucks, and only getting to work on it one day a week or so kinda sucks, but at the same time it always us not to get burnt out, and in between weekends i have plenty of time to plan, and get parts.

I don't have sound, but good job on getting it finished. I can't wait to get mine done. The only time I started it it was missing the plugs on the driver's side, no opti, and no headers. It cranked for about 2 seconds and I killed the key. It was the oddest sounding V8 ever. I like your radiator support. What material did you make it out of and what did you use to bend it?

The radiator support is made out of brushed stainless steel. It was bent on a computerized press @ Broke Ef's work. We input lenghts, and angles, it does the rest.

Ps. All we did to get it to start was turn the key to on 3 times, then cranked it. We turned it 3 times to make sure we had fuel in the lines and at injectors.

Thanks. We will be doing a full write up, with pics, and lots of details that will be in the truck manifold faq section.
It will take a little bit of time, but we ran into a lot of little questions that we felt were never talked about on here, and with all this new added info we think doing this setup would be pretty simple.

Clarion Vrx935 7 Inch Indash Lcd, Mb Quart Q 6.5's in front, Mb Quart 6x9's in the rear, 2 12 inch Diamond Audio D9 subs in Custom Ported Box. Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.4 Amp for interiors, and Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 for the subs. Every Piece of Wire in the Car Is stinger, there was no skimping anywhere here. 0 gauge connects 2 Stinger Car Audio Batteries that each make 1250 Cold Cranking Amps. The alternator has also been Upgraded to a 160amp from a 105 to help provide power
With 1 12 it did 143.7 db on a term lab, and with 2 12's it did 147 db on a termlab.
Thanks, Chris

Most times caps do more bad then they do good.
My batteries are stinger dry cell's that can discharge as quick as a cap. Also i have 1 battery in the trunk, and 1 under the hood. They are tied tohether with stinger 0 gauge, and a 150amp breaker.
Everything i try to do, i try to gather as much info about it as i can, and do the best install with the best parts i can justify.
So far my hobbies have gone.
Imports ( i loved 240sx's have owned 4 of them, and 1 of them i did an sr swap, 1 was nitrous)
to
Car stereo(went to several SPL comps)
to
Computers/home theater a little bit
to
Motorcycles(had a 05 r6, then a 07 gsxr)
To
the ta which i am now turboing
The next main hobby will hopefully be a house, with a nice garage for the ta to sit in, and keep getting work done.

Nice setup in the CL. I had two D9 15's in a huge custom enclosure powered by an Earthquake 5000.1 amp for awhile, but it got old and inconvenient not having a backseat. I should have metered them before I took them out.

Thanks. d9's are great subs. Amazing SPL, and great SQ at the same time. I had JL's before, and like the diamonds alot better.
I wish i had my trunk, and i will never due a setup like this again in a car, but its fun, and on a nice day listening to loud music is nice.
If your setup was in a suv, or something with a bigger cabin it is alot harder to get more spl. A similiar setup to mine, in a integra hatchback has done over 150 db.
