Default Help with ST80 dimensions

Guys, I'm considering swapping out my trusty ole' T76GTS for an ST80, but I'm concerned about fitment. I have 2 questions:

1. What is the outside diameter of the exhaust housing? If possible, how does this compare to the 76GTS?

2. What size is the v-band clamp on the turbine outlet? I've heard 3.5" and also 4".

Thanks!
Mike

What size ex housing? The v-band clamp is 3.5" but you need to get it from them as a standard v-band will not work. I learned the hard way.

Dr Turbo, do you know the approximate OD of the 1.1 turbine housing? What about the 1.0?

Thanks,
Mike

I've been trying to get a confirmation on the std comp housing discharge size but no one has answered. I thought I heard someone say it was 4".

I'll hopefully have mine in the next week, if no one has answered you by then I can get you some dimentions.

The thing is the discharge has a really thick flange. I think I got a 3.5"x3" silicone reducer to use for attaching it to my cold piping.

the V-band is 4". i put my ST80 exhaust housing in the mill and cut down half of that flange that was on it, so it then became a normal V band and i have a 4" downpipe strait off the turbo!

the discharge on the outlet of the compressor is 3 1/2" but it has this retardedly HUGE collar around it so it takes like a 4" coupler, i also just cut that off and welded an aluminum 3 1/2" V band onto mine...you can kinda see some pics in my build thread

as for dimensions, i don't know exactly, but a friend of mine had a 76GTS in his turbo hatchback stang and just replaced it with an ST80. the charge pipe's had to be slightly modified and the downpipe had to be changed just a bit, but considering it is a completely different turbo, it went in with very minimal messing around

So we are right back to square one with no one being able to tell me for a fact the discharge size of the comp housing. I know the inlet is 5" but need a confirmation on the discharge size so I can order the correct coupler. Can someone please measure it? I've asked forced inductions 3 times to let me know the size and have not gotten any kind of confirmation, even after calling them. I need OD dimensions only so I can get the correct coupler.

Yep, Zombie, and I'm still trying to find the answer to this one:
