Not sure if I said it earlier in this thread, or if it was another one, but I have ran 30-40 gallons of strait WWF though my motor and has never hurt it. I run a single M15 nozzle and a progressive kit. One thing about running strait meth though is you can never run to much, you just pull fuel to keep AFR in check. I go both way,

Has anyone thought of dropping ice cubes in their meth tank to drop the temps, or even chilling their meth jug? Just something I'm curious about, hell if you're spraying an intercooler with CO2, why not spray the meth tank too?

the 50/50 mix is what the farthers of waterinjection ran (german ww2 fighterplanes) Boost, nitrous and MW50 as they called it... i am sure they tested all possible combos, and when you can stand on the shoulders of great engineers why wouldnt you??

btw, i have a couple of buddies running the washer fluid as well, and it works awesome, is cheap, abundantly available, non corrosive and relatively non toxtc... thats what i would do...

That doesn't sound like a good idea to me. How would you keep track of how many ice cubes you have dropped in there. Your mixture of meth/water will be thrown off. I personaly just do 100% meth. Seems to work for me so far..18.4 lbs of boost on a 402 with methanol injection and 93 pump gas.

What about keeping your meth on ice? That way it's chemically and physically cooling the intake charge.

You probably are better off using Dry Ice......

50/50 and it does the trick... that is what most turners recommend.

well, this guy has done just that. back to back dyno test, and guess what, DISTILLED WATER won by a landslide

oh, by the way, he runs 4.80s at 140mph on pump gas, injecting distilled water. btw, he is using two 625ml nozzles (the biggest snow sells). per other experts, you would have to use 6-8 nozzles the same size with pure meth to get a meaningful improvement in performance(and then that jacks up your AF ratios)

According to Turbochargers by Hugh MacInnes, he says it was tested and proven that increasing the mixture past 50/50 was of no significant improvement in 1971. Since Methanol is volatile and prone to preignition, it is undesireable past a 50/50 mix.

Maybe you should stick to more resent publications... Meth has an Octane rating of some where around 110, and is NOT prone to preignition , it actually burns slower, stabilizing pump gas's burn rate.

I'll try to stick to more reCent publications next time. I didn't realize pulling information from a published source was more ignorant (apparently) than people just spouting off opinions (for the most part).

Just thought I would add some info from a text source since I didn't see any so far.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't burn slower than water
