Whipple kit for a vette inside
wonder if it could be fitted to a GTO

There is absolutely no reason why any blower cant be mounted remotely. Its just handy to mount them in the valley in most applications due to ease of fitment, pulleys, and space.
Other than that, it's just another air pump, albeit a positive displacement one as opposed to my current Vortech centri.
It's a big unit though - about 15"L x 8.25"W x 6.5"H in the standard orientation. And I'm going to have to design a really good heat shield to go between it and the header, and design new brackets, and figure out some sort of e-torque management scheme. They have the amazing problem of (potentially) too much boost right off-idle. I saw one dyno chart where a big 2.8 Kenne Bell was making like 680rwt at 1600 rpm. Got traction? Oops, got any tread left?

Obviously the install is not complete here.
I agree - Dragon looks expensive. I am just buying the head unit from a Whipple disti and doing my own thing.
