Really, I wouldn't have thought that at all. Thats great to know, I'd definetly go with this cam if I had a blower but I have seen it in a turbo car too. I am going a bit more conservative than this cam but wish I'd have the lope of this bad boy.

Great build guys... those are great numbers. But isnt saying that it made it on 93 Octane but then saying that is with a good spray of Meth a little missleading? Hahahha

Yes and no, its the only way to do a car of this horse power and not take home a trophy (paper weights ). If we were using a consistent fuel (vp/torco/rockett) it would not be an issue. But there is far too much variance with the winter grade / summer grade, and on top of different fuel stations. Now all we need is c16 at the pump of every Marathon / BP

I took this V out for a spin the other day with Scott Parker, from GM High-Tech. 3rd gear is a little scary, 4th gear is just a blast! Bob

Big stall vs 6spd , not too sure on bobs power band. We had a junk converter in when it was dyno'd, far too much slip, then again the th400 is not setup for dyno racing

Its most likely identical, the only difference in the two motors is the block, lq9 vs ls2.
