i have a m6, and my little bro has a a4 with 3.23 gears. so we are swapping rears till i can afford a new built one. the 3.42 should make the a4 better and the 3.23 should make my turbo m6 better.

i have an aps kit. waiting for rest of motor parts. Going with a LS3/L92 block(377ci) 9.5 or 9.8 compression (haven't decided), callies crank, oliver rods, diamond pistons, afr 225 heads, ls2 intake, cam (haven't picked). looking at running all psi i can. kit says 18psi. so we'll see. and run e-85. **** is cheap around here. 91 oct is $3.45. e-85(100+ oct) is $2.50

in the winter is is called e-85, but is like e-70. to cold for cars to start on e-85.

anyways
e-70=100oct
e-80=?
e-85=105-106oct

nice thing is i can run high boost with 9.5:1 to 10:1 compression and not have to worry to much. and not have to rely on meth. it just uses a bit more fuel. i got to plan on using 20 to 30% more. witch works out to about the same as pump gas. but i am runing 100+ oct not 91oct. so it all works out.

I think you need a lot larger injectors for e85?? Its great stuff many guys run it on many other turbo cars on various boards very successfully. Only problem is its still not everywhere. We have only three stations on all of canada yet they are selling new vehicles with flexfuel engines up here? Hoping it starts becoming common.

My aps kit is also in the boxes. Got it too near end of season last year so decided to
wait till spring and then decided to get new engine built. At least this way won't be worried much if do go to higher boost.

Only other good thing about waiting is get to see you other guys do your kits and pick up tips to hopefully help when do mine. Hoping to have mine done by july1 latest.

Fuel demand is roughly 40% additional, take injector flow for gasoline, multiply by 1.4

Mine only made it one round! Took it to the track a couple weeks ago and it broke the rear on the second pass. I'm hoping for the 9" to show from moser any day now.
Not sure what kind of horsepower it's making but on my first pass it ran a 6.69@107 with a 1.56 60 foot. Sorry, only 1/8th mile track here locally. Second pass, it stripped the gears out of the differential. Auburn Pro.
This is on an 8.35:1 CR 370 cubic in with Dart heads running about 10 pounds of boost on the wastegate spring.
