Default TR6 or TR7

which plug should i run on my app...TR6 or 7 plugs?
And why? Does a colder plug make less of a spark?Would i have to run a a smaller gap with the colder plug?I have always ran them on my nitrous motors but not sure about boosted motor.

The TR7 would be one step colder than a TR6.

also what are the signs of needing a colder plug? Would it be just the ground strap on the plug getting melted away? also any disadvantages of going to a colder plug?

I figured someone would get a kick out of that. Hope to have a new one in the car this month.

I'm curious about plugs as well. I'm fixing to tear down my motor and this is my first boosted car. I'm sure I could just search but for some reason I'm a retard when it comes to LS1tech's search.

Does the gap need to be tightened the more boost you run? It seems logical to me, but it would only seem you'd need to do that if you were running really high boost and maybe a different type of fuel.
