for everyone running f1a's and over 800rwhp. what fuel system are you running? (fuel pump) i will be using racetronix 79lb injectors, and i have the ractronix fuel system already from my last setup installed, and nast fuel rail kit. but im guessing i will need to upgrade my pump again.

so what are you using?

You'll need to upgrade the pump, lines, rails, etc.

You have a few options. Multiple Walbros, dual Bosch's, big Magnafuel or Aeromotive, etc.

I have 2 Walbros like Speed Inc uses in their 1000+ HP cars for sale if you're interested.

To make full use of the power that the F-1A is capable of, you are going to need a whole complete fuel system with a larger fuel line and a large return line. Check out what we did for my F-1A on my Z28. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=12 Bob

With 800rwhp we made use of Walbro intank pump, and sumped the tank for a walbro inline pump, these feed through the factory fuel line, evap line for return. Ran 60lbs/hr injectors, without bumping up base pressure IIRC duty cycle was 90%.

Use Aeromotive 13109 fuel pressure regulator.

I agree, if I did it again I would get dual walbro's and use stock feed with the evap as return. This has been able to run an easy 800rwhp many of times.

you guys are brave, I have no idea what kind of rwhp I make and nor do I care, but in the real world..

I have an aftermarket tank, -12 into a -12 filer into a 4303 magnafuel pump, -10 to another filter up to the rail and I'm using the stock feed for a return. Plus a voltblaster to keep the voltage around 15.5volts at WOT.

95lb injectors also and they run about 80-85% @ 72psi with the F1A maxed out in warmer weather.

Well, maybe its a good thing I got a custom sumped tank, -10 feed, -8 return and aeromotive pump. I only got 60lb injectors though but don't thinkn I'll be making as much power as you. I was also thinking about getting that voltage blaster. Did you try it before and after with a noticeable difference or was it all installed all at once?

60lb injectors will go pretty far if you can keep the fuel pressure up.

I upgraded the fuel system as I needed it, started with the usual walbro in tank and worked my way up. Would have cost 1/2 as mush if I just did it the right way to start with

I added the voltblaster for just some insurance when I was running dual walbros, I really dont need it with the big magnafuel pump but after a couple rounds at the track the battery voltage will start dropping if I have to start the car a lot and without it the battery voltage on a pass gets kinda low.

How are you liking the magnafuel pump KP? I have a similar fuel setup as yours, Nasty Nate's 2000hp rated kit with 96lb injectors, 4303 magnafuel pump, etc. but instead of -12 I am using -10. I am sure you are running 1000+rwhp with the numbers you are running. +1 on doing it right the first time, will save you in the long run.

I dont even make 750rwhp most of the time, but rwhp is a bad way to figure out fuel pump and injector sizes. If a guy with a M6, 10 bolt and a high correction factor on the dyno can make 800rwhp with 60s and a walbro that doesnt mean a guy with an unlocked 4L80 with a loose converter and a 9" on a 50 degree day at sea level can too

Except for being a little noisy (I have it solid mounted) the 4303 has not missed a beat in two years, its a great pump. Its not the most efficeint design on earth so It draws a good amount of current but its a solid as a rock design. Make you sure your wiring is up to the task, I run twin 10ga feed wires and twin relays.

Quick Reply: for everyone running f1a's and over 800rwhp. what fuel system are you running?
