You can't just buy a cog kit, I'm putting it together myself. The one on the F2 is from ati and the one on the crank is a big block pulley I found on ebay and had it machined to fit the lsx crank damper.

stock bottom end ls1 and d1 custum set-up. Car went 10.1 and had 9s in it but the bottom end popped before I could get a slip, it was traping 138. I didn't want to have to worry about bottom end failure again so I went with the lsx. I found a good deal on the F2 so now it's getting more boost too!

Thanks That's what happens when you have a car with no engine in your little one car garage with parts everywhere and tools everywhere, you run out of work space so you pull up the jeep and bam, work bench city!

I got a good amount of work done today considering I had to go to a family party at 3. Tonight I'll take it easy and finish assembeling the the heads. Hopefully I can get most of the engine done tomorrow so I can start mounting the blower next weekend. Anyway, here are the promised pics:

Looks awesome. I'm anxious to see some track times. This is close to the set up I want to put in my 25.5 chassis.

Ran out of money for good heads guys, it's not like I wanted to cheap out on heads lol. I'll upgrade to 6 bolt heads as soon as I have the extra $$$$. This is a budgit build, but I'm trying to do it with some good stuff. I've only bought a few things for full price, most of the stuff I've been searching for deals since my engine blew a year ago. I do everything I can myself. Machining the block, welding and tuning is about all I'll have someone else do, everything else is me. I'm by no means rich, closer to poor actually but I have a job that gets me by. This isn't the best hobby for me because it's way too expensive but I can't help it, I love this ****.

Anyway, I got a little more done today.

Amen to that lol I feel that way right now just getting my short block rebuilt with forged internals lol, it's been sitting for over a year as well. Looks amazing!!!

What're you doing for clearance for the cog setup?

I'm moving the radiator way forward like the front mount turbo guys do. Should make plenty of room. I'm also brain storming a bracket that may bring the blower up high enough on the passenger side that would allow me to just 90 with a filter and have the filter sit right on top of the radiator, where the air comes in through the nostrils. It would look awesome with the blower up like that plus a good spot for the air filter. Then I can reclock the blower outlet to go straight down and 90 into the fmic and then back up to the tb like my old set-up. Not sure if I can make it work yet but I think I might try.

Heres my old set-up, just imagine the blower up on the left with a filter sitting on the bmr radiator brace.

I've been tossing around getting the hot parts ebay turbo kit, moving the radiator verticle, getting the EPP front mount. And then, since the PTK and subsequent ebay knock off have the turbo inlet facing towards the passenger side, fabbing up an "air box" of some sort that would be kind of like the factory air box with an outlet on the passenger rear corner of the air box with the tube going down to the turbo. Then routing the outlet to the passenger side around the front back up the drivers back up to the TB that way like a lot of FMIC kits do. That way taking advantage of the BGRA (not that it really matters) and just plain looking different

Can't wait to see your finished project I know my FI build is gonna be a couple years off lol I still don't know how to weld yet even. I may have to borrow that front cover idea though that's pimp

Looking great! Always been curious though.... what are those sheet metal plates for in front on the engine that run across the entire bay?

They replace the standard style motor mounts I believe.
