Thought I'd share my progress. It srarted out this morning like this:

And after a few trips to autozone, gm dealer and a couple hours work, it's ready to be dropped in tomorrow. I'm picking up a engine picker to rent for the day. Hopefully it goes well and I'll be posting more pics tomorrow night.
Here's where I'm at so far:

For those of you that didn't read my other post and are wondering what the hell that huge cog is for, this should answer your question:

I'll be happy with anything over 900rwhp, but should be more. Track times are more important to me.

And yes it will be driven on the street

Yeah, it's pretty ******* heavy. I'm not huge or anything but I have been weight training for over 10 years so I can't imagine how hard a time someone who isn't above average in strength can move this thing lol.

I'm glad someone else has used the QTP plate with this engine because I'm a little worried with how heavy this thing is. Did you use stock valley cover bolts?

I'm actually not sure exactly where my compression will be at. I think I figured with a 66cc chamber head I would be at 9:1 but right now I'm using a temp 317 head so it will be around 8.5:1, much lower than I originally wanted, but I also didn't originally plan to boost 30+psi.

To be honest, things just worked out this way because of the deals I found. Sometimes your plans have to change a little to save some loot, lol.

It's standard 10% underdrive ati, just looks small cause it's missing the a/c pulley and the cog is HUGE!

No bracket work yet. Have to get it mocked up first. Then I'll start making support bracket.

Yep, stock bolts. I borrowed a friends engine hoist though and found a chain link had just started to come apart at the weld, make sure you check those rentals.
