Any particular reason you went with a Beck manifold?
Just curious to know your reasons...
Cause it flows like a mother!

Man I just bought one I asked the other guy that was selling your stuff and he said you didn't have one I figured since you planned to use the blower originally, you must have a nice big by pass and you did, the exact one I wanted Oh well, I got one now and got a good deal anyway.

Thanks.
It's from BMR. Very nice fit, I think it's going to work really nice. I don't think it would work with the typical procharger bracket set-up though.

What bracket did you use to mount his F2?

Couple updates.
I just got a sheet of aluminum that's 1/2" thick 24"x38" to make my bracket out of. I think I'm going to brace it to the frame on both sides and interconnect it to the motor plates so hopefully I will have it mounted nice and sturdy. Should work out pretty nice.
I'm going to cut the cowl tonight so I'll post pics of how that works out and how the Beck fits.

Got the beck all the way in today. Very nice fit. I had to trim the melal cowl but the plastic trim didn't have to be touched so it can't be seen. I also opened up the beck and put on some rtv red gasket maker in between the top and bottom to assure no boost leaks.

Awesome buildup. I so want to put one of those intakes on my car.

Motor plate will make installing headers such a walk in the park, ask me how I know.

I didn't do a mid plate, but I did an engine limiter bar that goes from the block to the chassis, so the motor won't move foreward/backwards. Seems to be working so far.

Yeah, it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I still have a lot of work to do and I have a few hold ups that are slowing me down like waiting for head gaskets to be made and finding a th400.

Power you're gonna make, you may want to consider a glide. I'm gonna guess that once you've got some good heads on there and get it all strait with good fuel it's gonna be a 1000 rw setup, if KP can do it with a 402 and an f1 I'd say anything with an f2 should be able to duplicate that power level, I assume the engine is 400+inch

We will see how the cars comming along, if I get the head gaskets this week, then the weekend is going to be very busy bolting everything up. If not then I will be out of things to do so I'll go and watch.

I don't know much about a glide. I just know most of the fast guys are running th400s and the swap isn't too difficult. Plus, shifting sounds fun Oh yeah, it's a 402.

Finished the radiator mount today, had to hack up the bmr brace but it came out ok.

Also got my grills cut out and dolled up a little. Looks like I might have room under the hood to lay a large air filter right on top of the radiator so I can get all the fresh cold air comming in.

Glide is an easy swap, same thing as a th400 but a 2 speed. Which I know sounds like it would be soft leaving, but it will help you stop the car from doing what mine did last weekend (note sig pic)
