Looks like a strong combo, will you be out again in a bit?

I like T400's because they have been reliable and not super expensive.

I'd like to get it out to the track by the fall or sooner, it all depends on how many hang-ups I run into. It's looking to be very possible though.

Nice setup. The Beck intake certainly isn't my idea of "budget build", but hey it's nice! Couple thoughts.....you may very well have a mismatch on the tooth type on the crank pulley you bought, not all cog belts have the same tooth profile. Talk to ProCharger on that and tell them what you got and they should be able to tell you if it'll work. Pretty sure the roots blowers use a different tooth pulley and they may not be compatible. Also, I'd recommend more than 3 bolts for the crank pulley, most guys use 6 with that blower and please please ditch those stainless allen head bolts for either Grade 8's or ARP's. The stainless is roughly equivalent to a Grade 5 bolt and with only 3 you're asking to let that pulley fly first time down the track. Last, don't choke off the F2 with that pvc pipe and sharp bends. Its easy to choke that blower if your not careful. Good luck, and nice build! Can't wait to see how you mount the F2 in there, its gonna be TIGHT!

Thanks for all the great words of advise. The cog pulleys should work together, I made sure they were both 8mm and the same tooth type.
I think I'm going to stick with the 3 bolts on the crank pulley because I asked my engine builder about machining 6 holes instead of the three and he said three will be fine as long as I use the stronger bolts. I will upgrade the bolts for sure, he said the same thing about the stainless bolts.
I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do about the inlet of the F2 yet, I may even leave it open for racing. I have to see where it ends up being mounted first and then I'll work on it from there, may not have enough room to do anything better than that tight 90, it is 4" so it can't be that restrictive.

Another update, I just bit the bullit and ordered a FLT th400 built for 1200rwhp with rmvb and trans brake. I feel better now that it's ordered but it sounds like they are backed up a few weeks so that is definetly going to slow my progress. Chuck is awesome so I'm sure he'll build me a great tranny.

Who would that be if you don't mind me asking, just curious since we don't have any orders that are 3 months old.

Hey, I'm glad you stepped in to take a look at my build. Now you know the beast I'm going to put your th400 up against.
I was hoping it wouldn't take 3 months to build it lol. I figure you guys are pretty busy so a month sounds reasonable. As soon as I get it, it will be added here along with the rest of my build If you have multiple th400s being built and your not sure who I am just shoot me a pm.
I can't wait to get your tranny in the mix, shouldn't be long after that, that I can get some numbers posted up.

The Nick Williams piece is very nice....you will be happy w/it. I was refering to the big-bore ones, 105/110 & 115mm that we make & we offer them with a Beck matched intake for them as a package.

Shoot me a PM w/your shipping address.....I'll make a donation to the build.
