Oh well, let's see more pictures of the F2 mounting situation
Ask and you shall receive lol. I got a lot done between last night and today, I'm tired of drilling and grinding but it's the only way when your making your own ****. I'm glad I saved the money a machine shop would of charged me to cut this thing cause it really wasn't that bad. Just needed to be patient with my little $50 jig saw and then a lot of clean up with the grinder. Next comes the intercooler and pipe work. Once all the pipes cut I'll go have it all welded except for 5 couplings: tb, f2 split from bottom side to top side and 2 for the intercooler. I'll upgrade the split and the intercooler to v-bands eventually. Anyhow, here's where I'm at:

Yeah, it's pretty big like 12x31 I think and 4" wide. It only has 3" in and outs so I'm going to go out and cut some 3.5" holes so I can have my 3.5" pipes welded to it. I think it's rated at 1000hp and 30psi so I'll be pushing it to it's max but hopefully with the larger in and out it will be ok.

Are both the inlet and outlet at the bottom? If it is and since you have to get it welded I'd flip one of the end pieces. One will be at the top and one at the bottom. It's more efficient.

For a pump gas car that intercooler will not work well. With a f1a at around 18psi we had seen 140s on a cold night. IAT's are where your power is going to be at with a heat monster like that, try a huge bell/griffin/spearco/garret core.

I'm only using it as a temp, I don't have the funds for anything better so it will have to do. I'll have a few upgrades for next year, for now I just want to get it up and running.

Also, it will only be running race gas.

Nothing worth posting about, just little misc. stuff. I had to modify the stock throttle cable bracket and mount it on the plate I made, got the alt belt on, got the remote mount oil filter installed, had to get a new breather, got the oil dipstick in, filled the oil, installed the starter, installed the remote mount IAC, mounted the IAT sensor in the intake pipe and I'm finishing the frame to F2 bracket mounts. A lot of drilling holes, started to get really frustrated because all my bits were getting dull and I was having a lot of problems. Now I got a new set of bits that are just ripping through everything so I got about twice as much done last night as I did the whole previous week fighting with the bad bits lol.
I also got the intercooler back so I'll be mounting it and routing all my intake pipe this weekend. Should have some update pics next week.
