I'm getting good at this ****! Head gaskets fixed, they lined right up after I swapped them. I wish I would have tried that before I installed everything the first time lol. That was much faster than I thought though. Did the head swap in less than 2 hours, I'm pretty proud of myself, lol.

Thanks for the comps guys.

This week is going to get exciting. Once I grind the valley cover down, I'll reinstall the beck and hook back up all the electrical. Then it's time to bust open the F2 box and start working on a bracket design. I'm going to do it in ply wood first(thanks to a word of advise from a member here) so I don't waste my $200 peice of aluminum. Then I'll draw it out on my sheet of aluminum and bring it to the shop to have it machined. I'll keep you all updated with the process as I make it. This is the really cool part where I actually get to start designing my own system. Feel free to post ideas as I start posting pics of my progress. I hope it works!

Ran into a couple fitment issues with the beck today. I had to grind the valley cover and then remove the intake again to grind one of the cross bars on the beck.

Now I have it on for good hopefully. Everything is hooked back up and I'm ready to start making my F2 bracket.

Not really, waiting on pay day lol. I did get everything on the engine together and all the wiring hooked back up. I picked up a piece of plywood to start making the bracket but havn't had the time to start fitting it yet. I'll most likely get the bracket template done this weekend.

Anyone know the procedure for installing an arp crank bolt? It came with no dirrections and I can't find any info on thier site. Torque specs? Lock tight or lube? Right now I'm thinking 250ft/lbs and lock tight but want to be sure.

Try searching as I have one and searched a shitload but decided to keep it for when I put my 370 in and get a gm bolt for my stock engine. I beleive that the majority said torque it down to 220-240 and call it a day.

So everyone is just guessing on the ARP crank bolt specs? I can't believe ARP doesn't have specs on this crank bolt, I thought thier stuff was very torque specific to get the right amount of clamping force?

If you search you will find the info you want. I found several threads that a couple different members have phoned ARP themselves and asked them. I just can't remember 100%. I do rememeber it being b/w 220-240 or so. They also talked about appying some kind of arp 'special juice' to the threads as well. Search is your friend. I can tell you that I used mine to fully seat my pulley and never even hit 200lb and it was a bitch to back it off.
