I gotcha, I've seen your combos after I already had my beck and your combo package is a work of art Mine looks a little goofy with the round tb mounted to the square beck.

A donation would be awesome! You know you'll get some good advertising from me here
Now if only I could get a few more donations I might actually get this thing running in the next couple weeks lol.
I'll pm you.

Nothing special, harland stock rockers, .7 lift dual springs, GM racing lifters and hardened pushrods. Hydraulic.

any thought on how you are going to mount the blower? Did you get a RR or Standard rotation blower?

It's reverse. I'm making my own bracket out of a large sheet of aluminum I got. I'm still brainstorming the design, but I think I have something pretty cool up my sleeve.

I got a lot done today but also ran into some issues.

1. Head gasket bolt holes don't line up
2. Beck intake hits valley cover and doesn't sit flush
3. Can't remember where a couple electrical things go and can't find the cam sensor plug to hook in my new ls2 conversion harness.

The head gasket thing isn't huge because the only holes that don't line up are the extra lsx block holes and I'm not using 6 bolt heads yet but I'm still going to try and get them to send me a new set for when I do the swap because $200 is a lot for gaskets, they should be right.

I'll take the beck intake off next time I'm working on it and remove the valley cover so I can grind down the edge on both sides. Hopefulley that will fix that issue. Not sure if you can tell in this pick but I don't want to risk it with the amount of boost I'll be throwing at this thing so I'm going to redo the intake regardless to make sure I have a good seal.

Then for the wiring issues. Fist off I can't find where the stock ls1 cam sensor plug is. I have the ls2 conversion wiring harness hooked up to the new knock senso location and cam sensor location but I'm not sure which plug was for the original cam sensor. Is it one of these?

I also can't remember what all went on the alt and where to mount all those stupid grounds behind the intake. If I remember right, they just bolt to the head but I can't remember if all three go on one bolt.

Over all, I did pretty good starting to hook everything back up. Here's where I'm at.

make sure the head gaskets are facing the right way (some have a front and back direction on them)
yes it is one of those 2 plugs (the other is the crank sensor on the side of the block)
and those 3 grounds originally have 2 bolts and go on the back of the head but u can put all 3 on 1 it wont hurt anything.

good luck man looks good

The gaskets are marked with front left and front right, you would think it would say front driver side and front passanger side but they mean left and right when your facing the front of the engine I guess. All the other bolts lined up perfect so I don't think it's possible they are on wrong.

I think I figured out that those sensors are the map and the cam position sensor but you got me thinking with the crank sensor now because I havn't hooked that up yet either. Here are the only plugs I have left to hook up other than the transmission stuff and I still have to hook up the crank sensor and starter. Is this black plug in the pic for the crank sensor? It looks just the same as the other plugs that I used for the cam sensor and map. And where does that big long plastic thing go? I can't remember. Thanks a ton for your help.

****! Gaskets are on the wrong sides! Why the **** would they say left and right, are they retarded. They refer to them as left and right when your sitting in the car, how retarded! You can tell from these two pics that the only thing that doesn't line up is the 4 extra bolts across the middle. On one the hole is half inch to the rear and the other is the opposite so if I switch sides they should line up. Tht means they are upside down as well. Guess I get to do the heads again

that long plastic thin is the oil level sensor. goes in the oil pan. then you have an 02 wire and the crank sensor in that pic. in my harness my crank sensor was actually coming out of the loom at te top of the motor.

Well that confirms that. Thanks for all your help. Looks like I got everything figured out so it sould be all good once I redo everything

Actually, I don't remember my moroso pan having a spot to put that oil level sensor, I'm going to have to go check it out.

Anyone know if I need the oil level sensor? Because the moroso pan doesn't come with a spot to put it and I really don't want to have to tap the pan.

Any time an application refers to right or left it is related to you sitting in the car (left fender, right fender, left frnt tire, rt frnt tire, etc.)

It is confusing though if not used to it.

Billet pulley is on the way!
