Yeah, I'm scheduled for tuning Wednesday. After that I may have to sell or part out because my job is questionable. I'd love to get it out to the track at least once before I sell it though, so we'll see. Wish me luck getting tuned.

I'm getting married in September, have a ton of debt and was just getting by and now my hours are cut back and might even lose my job. Don't really have much choice. This economy fucked me. I'm in construction and it just keeps getting slower and slower. Hopefully things turn around soon.

Join the club. I lost my job of 2 years and 9 months at the beginning of November. I then had my unemployment cancelled by my previous employer. I went for 3 months with zero income other than selling all of my extra car parts. I appealed my unemployment case and won, but I just got the money at the beginning of last month, right around 5 months later.
Now, I have a job and a steady source of income. I'm finally starting to get rolling on my cars again. If I was you I wouldn't part anything out. If this chick likes you she'll understand if you're in hard times and you don't want to sell everything to pay for a wedding.

My girl is not the reason I'm selling, she's always been very supportive, always goes to the track with me, helps me in the garage when I need an extra hand and sometimes even pays for parts What I get back from the car will go towards debt I owe and has nothing to do with the wedding. The reason I mentioned it is because we will be trying to start a family soon after and I don't want to have a bunch of debt going into that. If I was still getting full pay, I could tough it out and still be able to afford everything. Now with my hours cut, I can't pay all my bills so I need to sell to pay some stuff off.

. Have always had this question what heads are you running on this engine and are they cathedral port or square port heads? Just been woundering?

Just Curious, havent had any experiance with the LSX blocks. I think that they are 6.0 heads right LQ4? Not fully sure just checking.
Also what is the requirements for a cylinder head to fit on a LSX block?

****...Started and got to page 4 somewhere around post 180 and thought I would cheat and get to the end and see how the build went and it bums me out to see that you might have to part it out before it ever got a chance to hit the track!
