I think he may have just taken it to the track, and not on a dyno.

It made 609 RWHP on a Dynojet 'unlocked'.
According to some of the on-line calculators plugging in raceweight and 1/4 MPH it shows to be around 660-670 RWHP.

I ran this Yank PY3400 in my LS1 h/c and it is a dyno HP eater.

After adding the Transgo BPV-BOV the trans shift points were corrected. Still making 9# shifting at 6200 RPM now crossing the stripe at 6300 RPM. Car is working good. 60's were 1.44 and 1.45.

It is great to be able and get in it and go anywhere and idle quietly next to another car and be able to hold a conversation out the window. It makes for a good sleeper in street trim with the SS rims and ET Radials. Its very quiet through the cats and Magnaflow cat back and has very good street manners with a nice sound.

Already had my first victim, a 9 second Z06 with a turbo that couldn't hold a candle to my launch on the street with the Hoosiers QTPs. I had 3 cars on him at the hit. If I had to guess my car leaves just as hard on the street as it does at the track.

I got some video of the track I will work on getting on the 'puter. Wasn't the best this time.
I may have missed it but what wheel/tire combo do you run on the street to hook? Your 60' is the exact same as mine (1.44) so it'd be nice to hook on the street!

Gotta be a 'streeter', couldn't have it any other way, just need to get the temps in check for next summer with the A/C on, it doesn't like the hot days right now.
I thought I'd shed some light on this. I had horrible issues with mine running really hot even in 80* weather, and we get 100*+ summers so that wouldn't cut it.

I got a HOWE 2 core radiator which helped until about 90* outside, but anything other than that and it still got hot. I added a small Spal fan and wired it into the other. It's got to an all time high of 236* sitting still for 5 mins on a 100* day after being fully warmed up.

With or without the air on? FMIC or twin 4.5"s

In repsonse to your other ? I run a Hoosier Quick Time Pro 27" x 11.5" on a 15" x 9.75" Bogart D10. Works very well with my converter and chassis.

It would over heat at 80* without the air on on the factory setup. 4.5" intercoolers. After it was said and done I could leave it running for 5 minutes, after I drove it 10 miles, with the air on and it wouldn't go over 236* in 100* weather, driving it would go to about 190*. The ProCharger kit is awesome, it's Achilles heel is taking away the 2 factory fans.

Very true about the fact of the ATI kit losing the factory fans, where did you get that Howe radiator? Is is a cheaper alternative to the Be Cool or Ron Davis? How was fitment?

Signing up - I have similar cooling issues with my d1sc on the stock 346. Adding the kooks 17/8 plus the sc did not help and the temps started to climb well past 230. I tried a quick fix by removing the rubber seal that sits on the plastic cowl in the hopes I could get more air flowing to remove the hot air in the bay; saw about a 10 - 15 degree drop but still running hot.

In the process of upgrading the radiator to the ron davis unit and will be calling epp to get the 9" spal fan to hook up to the larger fan provided with the kit. Should be about two months before I get all of the stuff installed but will have to wait until the first hot spell here in NC to see if the changes worked.

Post back on that Ron Davis rad install, I have been looking at it. I put one in my Chevy II a few years back and liked it alot, very nice quality. How much did you pay for the radiator?

I haven't driven the Camaro since October last year before I parked it for the winter after getting smoked by a Lingenfelter twin turbo Vette on the street. It was humbling, but I knew something wasn't right with the car, it felt soft. So after 5 months I am looking around under the hood and peak back near the radiator and notice the plenum is splt all the way across the bottom back. I have an idea how to fix it, but I think I will do a radiator too.

Need that A/C going.

Hope to see the Vette again in the spring!

Sorry, never saw this. I got it directly from HOWE Racing (Google). I'm not sure how much the Be Cool and Ron Davis pieces are, but it was custom made for me (first one they made for an LS1 f-bod) and it was right at $900, its a GREAT piece, incredible craftsmanship and fits perfectly.

EDIT: Just looked on their site, $577 for a drop in rad. for a Camaro (you'd have to check to make sure it's a 2 core).

Paid 700 from Blanco SS, excellent quality and a great product. Getting ready for the install - got a bit side tracked with installing koni's from Sam. I will probally have Tick Performance install it for me as I need to upgrade the hydro's after the textrella install.

Afco makes a good product as well but I have seen many positive write-ups on the Ron Davis products.
