Oil Restriction

So what are you guys with Turbonetics LARGE FRAME turbos putting in for a restriction in the oil feed line to stop it from leaking into the compressor? Right now its a -4 down to a -3 fight before the turbo and its still leaking.....the turbo is past warranty, but it's got less then 1000 miles on it......

Your not suppose to restrict it at all with a BB unit. Only thing you can do is have the front side of the unit rebuilt. Essentially the parts behind the comp wheel and back plate.

Can I get parts seals and or bearings from you and do it myself?....the damn turbo is new! Oh tech support at turbonetics said -3 was fine...

I can check...only problem is how new is the turbo as in when was it built by Tnetics?? The designs have changed a good bit over the past 1.5 year.

I originally got it the feb. 2007......so its probably an old style...oh its was a t91 with an 1.00 Ar and now its got the 101 wheel and compressor cover...that I got from you last june/july...???? and swapped it over.....then a week later wrecked a motor so now it up and running again finally...so I got about 2 weeks driving on this thing

I might just have to wipe it off after each time I drive it......
