Yes. I had to make 1/2" spacers for it. It cost about $35-40 in materials and the bolts were a bit tough to find in the 10.9 grade. Well worth it though as I have a 3.80 upper pulley and can go to at least a 4.00 possibly larger if I have one made for it.
I took pictures of them installed if anyone is interested. I'll more than likely make a website for it sometime and host them there.
It ran, got up to operating temp and got shut off. Jon Lund will hopefully be tuning it Friday or Saturday.

Very nice setup. What's your crank pulley size? I am building a 434 SBC with the Whipple 3.3 (target boost is 12-14# across the range) and am wondering where to start on pulley sizes. I have a 7" crank pulley and also a 6.66" if I need it, and I got the 3.5 8-rib for the blower.
How's yours sound under load?

Very nice setup. What's your crank pulley size? I am building a 434 SBC with the Whipple 3.3 (target boost is 12-14# across the range) and am wondering where to start on pulley sizes. I have a 7" crank pulley and also a 6.66" if I need it, and I got the 3.5 8-rib for the blower.
How's yours sound under load?

stock crank pulley b/c it uses the factory brace.
We also havent had it under load yet. We will finish putting the exhuast on it tonight along with bleed brakes ect and shoot to dyno on friday.

Sorry about that, it's a 7.6" pulley stock. Be aware that many sites will quote 7.5" stock but it is measured as 7.6" and I have used that for all calculations.
I'm running a 7.6" lower with a 3.80" upper and on my 284 it should be making around 21 lbs of boost with the Gen II Rotors and long tubes. We'll find out for certain tomorrow, I've got 120 miles on the setup and my appointment is at 12:30pm Friday to get the car tuned on the dyno.
As for the shifter, you're right it's not the most ergonomic. I'm also 6'3" and sit with the seat fully back and that's still not as far back as I'd like it. I don't lean back in the seat at all though and I can reach 3rd and 5th without much struggle. I do have the Pro 5.0 shifter with an MGW blue handle. That aside the seats are phenomenal, the interior is up to par and the steering wheel is actually leather wrapped. While it's not a Corvette, it's not bad for a Ford.

OK, thanks, that's useful. I'm mostly trying to see if I need a larger or smaller blower pulley on hand for tuning, but I guess it's going to be 'wait and see'.

Like Fran said, we had some conservative pulls on my pump gas setting and made 634/607 on a Mustang Dyno with very low timing and only pulling to 5900. The dyno operator quit logging at 5900 but the tuner pulled to 6700, and the power wasn't done rising.
I'd like to see 680-700 with full timing on pump gas spinning it to 6500+.
