APS car overheating

APS car overheating I have the APS twin kit on my car, along with a 403 cid LS2 engine and stock cooling system, I am using water and water wetter in the cooling system, I was using the Dex-Cool with water wetter and in hot weather I can't run the A/C or the car will overheat quickly. I am open for ideas and suggestions. Thanks

Evans I went with a Evans coolant & water pump which should have been enough!! but i went the extra mile with the Be Cool racing rad and fan kit!! I didnt think the stock cooling was enough even before i started my build !!at least check into a pump and coolant first!!

I assume 160 stat and set your fans to come on at much lower than stock settings or on anytime you ignition is on might help. Make sure nothing is up there like a grocery bag. I got one up there once and couldn't figure why car would overheat.Just a stupid grocery bag.
You might need a better rad just wondering which ones will fit like stock with the aps kit. Are the griffins or whatever exact same size as stock or are they thicker and if so is this a problem.
One temp trick is to turn the heater on it can save a boilover. And stuck thermostat definitely can cause problems.

The Ron Davis radiators are some of the best, we have had great success with them.

I think I ran across a couple threads about running warm in the past with A/C. One reason I didn't pull the trigger. Thread Starter

I ran all the air out of it. I have added a little water to top it off but it is full. Is there another way to bleed it other than filling it up and bringing it to operating temp and addding water till it is full?

I can't run the A/C at all highway or setting still. With the heat on wide open on Saturday (98*day) it would stay between 205 and 212 turn the heat off and it went to 220 with the AC, forget it.

160 T-stat and fans come on at 165. There is not anything blocking the airflow other than the intercooler.
