You waited until *afterwards* to change the motor mounts?

My pipes tuck much closer than that. I am stock height but after 9K miles, I don't have but 1 maybe two scratches on my crossover. It tucks closer on an auto as well.

Well I was hoping that the header wrap would stop the mount from melting but they are still getting hot. =0

Anyways it gives me an excuse to take the downpipe off again. I need to spray the downpipe again, because we had taken some of the wrap off to weld the wastegate pipe shut =).

so many good things have been said about solid motor mounts... I have not even driven mine and I love them.... When I shake the motor the whole car moves, not the motor. Because of where my Turbos are mounted I was really worried about the engine movement, but not any more. Get them you will not regret it!

Really, so that means I would have to replace both, not just the drivers side.

But it will also give me a bit more clearence over the steering shaft so that could be a good thing.

Mine definitely doesn't shake a lot, no more than poly mounts. I'm not sure why your motor is higher either, mine sure didn't seem to move up any.

I was going to ask why does it shake, but since mine does not run yet I was not going to step on any toes
