you can use stock style PCV valves, but they wont totally seal and block boost from entering the crankcase. I used both the stock PCV valve and a one way check valve that i got off of ebay.
this is the one way valve i used:
check valve
just make sure you get the correct size.
as for my PCV system, no more STS valve for me. I run both rear PCV ports to a catch can and then run a line back to the turbo for constant vacuum under boost. I put a T in this line and run that to the intake manifold port for idle/part throttle vacuum. I put a check valve in this line to block off the intake manifold port when its pressurized from boost.
On the front valvecover port i run a vented catch can with a breather so that it can vent if there is any excess pressure that the turbo vacuum doesnt get. Hope this helps!

Something like this?
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/var...ant%5Fid=64175
I have built a few setups already and every time I end up changing something as I learn

My setup (which I took from here) the white plastic are the 1-way check valve; 2 are located in line of the valve cover breathers and the other two are in the photo below:

Im building up a car for a friend that already has the sts system on it and I wanna get rid of the electronic pcv or whatever it is.
On my turbo car I just ran 2 breathers on the valve covers one on each side and this seems to be effective. I have no misting, contamination or any other problems. I dont know why a sts car would be different?
