looks like they have an exhaust leak and that's some of the explosion from the backfire that coincides with seeing the spark / flame popping out from under the car.

Seems like a pretty nice setup. Id still like to know what the numbers look like on a H/C/I, etc. type fbody. Since not very many people on this board have stock cars. 6K for the it seems pretty fair, but 2K for the install....DAMN! I guess your SOL if you dont know how to do it yourself.

I see the spark!
The only thing that can throw the spark FORWARD is the spinning rear tire.
As a matter of fact, I've seen wheel weights go airborne, small rocks from sticky tires, etc... That is why you don't stand behind the dyno.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
It was probably a small pebble from our landscaping just outside that baydoor.
By the way, here's the WIDE power graph...
464hp to the tires. 450 torque starts at 2500rpms and peaks at 475. (No headers. Stock engine. Stock air cleaner.) If you have mods already done to your car, results may be higher.

We'll upload some burnout video soon.
Supercharger systems are ready for order.

Wait, you can get into the high 400s at the wheels for less then 6k? Granted it is 8k if they do the install too but I am assuming that you'd be doing the installs yourself (be it supercharger or heads/cam). I haven't seen any car here spend less and get the same results. Wouldn't your reason for saying it'd sell like crazy if it was 3k would be that 3k for mid-high 400rwph would be an insanely good deal. Sry bout off being off topic.
No matter though, I think it looks awesome. Given I had the money, I wouldn't even have to think about it. To MTI, anything you can add about fueling on the car above? Was the stock fuelpump/injectors enough to feed that power level?

In the world of performance products, you can figure a cost of approximately $100 per 1 hp. Our MTI Racing supercharger system is a relative "no brainer".
The system includes the injectors. It uses the "Magnavolt" in combination with the stock fuel pump.

Thats not a bad deal with injectors. To do a heads/cam/intake and full bolt on car would be right around there and be maxed completly. This kit with bolts on would make over 500hp and have no drivability problems.

This is a intercooled 122 s/c with injectors and all supporting mods needed to make this fit in a car that was not designed to have a blower added.
For a drag racing application is there something better...absolutely! For a street car probably not? contrary to popular belief most of the guys on this forum dont go to the track more than 2 or 3 times a season. They just want a fast street car and this is IMO the best way to go.
If you want to bitch about the price look at it this way, If you have a fast intake now you will save about 1200.00 because you will no longer need it. If you have an ls6 you'll save about 400.00 If you already have an upgraded fuel system and can tune yourself you will be able to save a lot more. For all you get w/ this kit it is a damn good deal.

It would be close to 600 w/ heads and cam!

BTW no popping here! I believe they were working on the wot tune first as this is a sd tune.
