Wow, nice setup!

How much does the intercooler spray kit help with your numbers?

Yeah, it'd be great if you could a dyno run back to back with CO2 off then on so we can see some real world results. I've got a similar build going so I am very eager to see your results. Is it an auto or M6? Care to share more engine specs?

looks good but are you going oto be running a class where they dont allow you to inject a second power adder?

For the love of God, do I see one of those gimmicky spray bars on the intercooler. More so with the intake hat right above it.

Car will be running in the Silver State Classic and a private test session in Detroit for a top speed test. The spray bar is actually NOS-it will be used before a run only to drop the cooler temps and on straightaways to drop inlet temps again.

If you're pumping NOS at the intercooler then it just goes into the atmosphere wouldn't it be much cheaper to run C02 instead? Wouldn't NOS be MUCH more effective if it was sprayed inside the intake???

Probably but I didn't want to mess around with the C02. The intercooler is 28x8x3.5 and vertcal flow-it should keep the IAT temps down to around 100 degrees alone and with meth spraying it should drop even further. I went with NOS becaue say in a extreme situation if we did have a leak-I would rather ingest NOS instead of C02.

Is it a normal spray bar with holes? If so, you will be injesting plenty of that nitrous.

We played around with these sprays bars years ago. Using nitrous is the way to go, it seemed to cool much better than C02. The trouble is you have to use a lot of nitrous to really affect the inlet air temps. If you use a very small nitrous hit directly into the airstream, it drops the temp's much more and you will go through much less nitrous. The trouble is it can be hard to tune for it when you're only using it occasionally to drop inlet air temps.

A methanol injection kit running pure methanol drops inlet air temp's by 35 to 40 degrees for us, and you don't use much of it. We have been using methanol with good results on this road course driven Corvette. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=40 Bob
