Someone in the tuning section who was trying to get lined up for a tune in TX said that MIT was closing up shop... IS this true or vicious rumor?

Thats true. A lot of people confuse the 2. They have nothing to do with each other.

A mild 427 that made 690 HP @ 6 psi. What is not to be impressed by? All of this was done with the smaller TVS 1900, and it has not reached its full potential yet.

Brian,
How high are the IAT's? Better yet, how much heat does the TVS series produce?

So 580-620rwhp @ 6 PSI if I am understanding it right. Not groundbreaking. The motor itself on low compression and mild setup should be good for at least 480 one would think.

So the blower added 140 rwhp on 6 psi, 23.33 hp per psi....one cannot ask for more than that.

My very giving figures were based off of a lot of assumptions. I am sure the 427 is North of 500 probably closer to 550 but until we here from the builder/owner we will not know.

Fixed.

I talked to one of the techs yesterday and he said that the TVS S/C is on a another level from the others. I think they are going to test it out at the Road Atlanta NASA event this weekend. I'll probably go and check it out. I'm wondering how it compares to the 454 LS7 that was formerly in the car.

So the nubers above were RWHP? Also you talked to a vendor tech. A little biased wouldn't you think.

wow they took a picture of the screen and printed it out. why not use the Print screen cammand an print the image, or just go to file and print "ctrl P". n e ways. if the numbers are at the RW then those are pretty impressive for the 1.9L. just boggles my mind that people are doing these builds and using the TVS and maggies, why not use a twin screw?
