Default MACs __> Kooks
I just picked up my car from East Side Performance after a Mac (cat y-pipe) to Kooks header upgrade and a NoGo retune. I was primarily looking for better sound and quality but also ended up with a nice little power gain. The Kook's are stainless 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" with emissions hardware and a magnaflow cat y-pipe. The car sounds much better now (no more RASP)!

Before: 502 RWHP/429 RWTQ (SAE)
After: 546 RWHP/473 RWTQ (SAE)

Now I need to get it to the track.

Thanks guys. Yes, NoGo did the original tune . He adjusted for better fuel pressure up top with the intank Walbro as well as the LT headers.

Sounds like you have a winner.. NoGo knows his stuff and your #'s are awesome for stage I heads and the P1SC.. Any belt slippage?

Vince, I wasn't there for the dyno runs so I don't know for sure about the belt slipping. I think they were seeing around 9-10 PSI of boost which is about right for my setup (3.85" blower pulley and a 7.85" MMS crank pulley) so I don't think there is much slipage. I'm hoping to get to the track this week and get a better feel for how things are working.

Monster burnout and feathering.

Actually, Kenny thinks RWHP would come up with bigger exhaust, but that RWTQ may not rise that much from where it is now.
